About the Conclave

Type 1 Diabetes is a challenging journey of highs and lows. Despite scientific advancements and modern therapy, true progress lies in collective awareness, compassion, and community support. TiEUP 2025 aims to unite healthcare professionals, nutritionists, educators, and warriors of Type 1 Diabetes on one powerful platform. Society for Prevention & Awareness of Diabetes

SPAD (Special Programme for Awareness of Diabetes) was founded in 1995 under the leadership of Dr. Rishi Shukla, with the aim to educate and support Type-2 diabetic patients. Since then, SPAD has been organizing monthly awareness sessions on every 4th Sunday, continuing uninterrupted for over 35 years. This makes SPAD one of the longest-running diabetes education initiatives in India, driven purely by the dedication and voluntary efforts of its members.
